A production timeline includes more than fabrication. It includes the questions, approvals, file preparation, venue coordination, packing, transport, installation and removal required to make the finished work function in the room.
Contacting the team early creates room to evaluate options. It does not guarantee a date. Availability is confirmed only after the scope and production conditions are reviewed.

Some stages overlap and some projects require additional review. The sequence still helps identify which decision is holding the next stage.
Control point: Every release to print or fabrication should be based on approved information. Assumptions that remain open should be visible, dated and assigned.

Confirm when the room becomes available, when the work must be event-ready and when removal must be complete.
Floors, walls and attachment rules
Identify existing materials, approved attachment methods, protection requirements and the person authorized to approve the installation.
Lighting, AV, power and staging
Share the locations and responsibilities that affect scenic elements, graphics, floors, bars, activations and presentation environments.
House labor and onsite contacts
Identify venue, planner, production, security and loading contacts, plus any labor or supervision requirements.
Strike, disposal, return or reuse
Decide what leaves the site, what is retained, where reusable pieces go and which deadline controls the final removal.
Early engagement protects options
When the team can review the room, files and priorities before production pressure builds, there is more opportunity to evaluate materials, construction and installation approaches.
Approval dates are production dates
A design approval, artwork release or verified dimension is not an administrative detail. It can be the event that unlocks printing, material commitment or fabrication.

If size, quantity, venue, finish or access changes after approval, the production plan should be reviewed again. The new information may affect cost, schedule and installation.

Early concept review may begin with clearly labeled assumptions. Verified dimensions, approved surfaces, access requirements and production files are still needed before affected work can be released to fabrication or print.
What commonly disrupts the production schedule?
Late approvals, changing quantities, missing artwork, revised dimensions, new venue restrictions, compressed access windows and scope changes after production begins can all affect the plan.
Does MR9 handle installation and strike?
